The physical entry role people talk about in exploration camps.
A driller’s offsider is the labourer on a drill crew: rods, samples, fluids, housekeeping around the rig. It is physical, often remote, and one of the better-known ways people with no pit experience get “on the tools” in exploration. It is still a real job with medicals and fatigue — not a weekend adventure.
